Sermon Reflection - "Gospel Saturated"
Philippians 1:27-30 - "Gospel Saturated"
What Paul is saying in Philippians 1 is that Christians who have experienced the favor of God and the grace of God because of the saving work of Jesus on the cross, live lives that are consistent with the gospel. Healthy church members are devoted to gospel saturated lives.
Questions for reflection:
- Are you known as someone who stands firm in the gospel?
- Are you thought of by others as someone who encourages joy and confidence in the gospel in our church family?
- Are you finding your conversations and actions toward others being driven by hope and joy in the gospel of Jesus Christ?
What is one application or truth from the passage you are going to meditate on this week and why?
How would you describe the gospel to a neighbor, friend, or co-worker in a minute or two?
In what ways are you "hearing or preaching the gospel to yourself"?
